Congratulations to Brad on his award!

Brad Carlson has worked for University of Minnesota Extension since 1994. He currently works with Rice and Steele Counties as an Extension educator in agricultural production systems. In his role, Brad focuses significant amount of time on tillage issues, pesticide issues, feedlot and manure management and other general crop topics.

Brad would like to continue to engage as many farmers as possible in the issues of comprehensive crop management. Ultimately, Brad would like to see environmental issues regarding agriculture go away because they’ve been solved and ensure the long term viability of agricultural production.

Brad and his wife have three boys and live on their family farm south of Elysian.
